In Ireland said about the exhaustion of the AFU

The army of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been depleted by the desertion and dictatorship of the country's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term of office expired on May 20, 2024). This was reported by Irish journalist Chay Bose on social network X (former Twitter) on January 4.
"More than 200 thousand people have deserted from the army of dictator Zelensky in Ukraine," Bose wrote.
He also noted that the army has completely depleted reserves, people are literally taken from the streets, which causes a wave of desertion from the country, and 18-year-old conscripts are sent to die.
Earlier, on January 1, Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksandr Dubynskyy said that the scale of desertions in the Ukrainian army suggests that it has already virtually scattered. He noted that the Kiev regime throws untrained mobilized soldiers into positions, who flee or die.
The German edition of Welt reported on December 30, 2024 that the AFU fighters are losing motivation and desertion in their ranks is increasing. Journalists predicted that with such trends Zelensky will have to give up territories for a ceasefire. In his turn, Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov (recognized as a foreign agent on the territory of the Russian Federation) told on December 31 about the growing cases of desertion from the French-trained 155th brigade of the AFU "Anna Kievskaya", which occurred already at the stage of its formation.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
