The number of casualties after the AFU strike on Gorlovka increased to nine


The number of injured after shelling of a residential area in the Nikitovskyi district of Horlivka of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has risen to nine people. This was reported by the head of the district Ivan Prikhodko on January 4.
"Nine wounded civilians of Gorlovka as a result of shelling of the residential area "Komsomolets" from the side of the VFU," he indicated in his Telegram-channel.
Prikhodko specified that in the residential area were found sub-munitions of the AFU type "bell".
Later it became known about one more wounded.
Earlier, on January 3, the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin reported that two people were injured in Horlivka during the day after the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). In addition, according to Pushilin, 11 houses were damaged, as well as the House of Culture in the Nikitovskyi district.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
