St. Petersburg Pulkovo airport has lifted restrictions on the reception and departure of flights from 10:15 Moscow time. This was reported by the spokesman of the Federal Air Transport Agency (FAA) Artem Korenyako on January 4.

"At Pulkovo airport, restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft (VS) were lifted at 10:15 Moscow time. Temporary restrictions were imposed to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

In addition, Korenyako said that about 20 aircraft were diverted to alternate airfields during the period of the ban on departure and reception of vessels.

Restrictions at the St. Petersburg airport were in effect from 08:15.
