The governor of Smolensk region reported the destruction of five AFU UAVs overnight

Air defense forces have destroyed five drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Smolensk Region overnight. This was reported by the governor of the region Vasily Anokhin on January 4.

"A total of five enemy UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Smolensk region by on-duty air defense means over the past night," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Anokhin pointed out that there were no casualties or damage.

Earlier in the day, Anokhin reported the destruction of two Ukrainian UAVs over the Smolensk region. He indicated that there were no casualties and destruction as a result of the attack.
