Wes Streeting, head of Britain's Department of Health, on January 3 offered U.S. entrepreneur Ilon Musk to help the country fight pedophilia thanks to his position as owner of a leading social network.

Earlier in the day, Musk called British Prime Minister Keir Starmer "complicit in the mass rapes" of girls by gangs in Britain while he was head of the Crown Prosecution Service between 2008 and 2013. The businessman then called for the prime minister to resign, before emphasizing that "he should be charged for his complicity in the worst mass crime in British history."

"We're willing to work with Ilon Musk, who I think has a big role to play because of his social media platform, to help us solve this problem. If he wants to work with us and roll up his sleeves, we would welcome that," Streeting was quoted as saying by ITV.

Furthermore, Streeting believes that some of Musk's statements on rape in the UK are based on "incorrect and misjudged information."

According to The Telegraph newspaper, at least a thousand girls have been raped by gangs made up of Asians. No one has been held accountable for failing to stop it, including police chiefs and prosecutors, the publication noted. According to the newspaper, under Starmer's leadership, the Crown Prosecution Service dropped the case against the rapist gang despite overwhelming evidence of their guilt. The publication added that people are now calling for a public inquiry into the long-term systematic sexual exploitation of children.

"For two decades, the plight of thousands of young girls barely out of their teens has been silenced. Police, municipal councils, charities and politicians have put public relations ahead of protecting vulnerable women from horrific sexual abuse. They allowed little girls to be raped so as not to risk being accused of racism by emphasizing their abuse," the publication said.

Earlier, on January 2, American entrepreneur Ilon Musk said that new parliamentary elections should be held in the UK. The next day he expressed the opinion that King Charles III of Great Britain should dissolve the country's parliament and call elections. On January 1, Musk called the British right-wing party Reform UK the country's only hope and urged the citizens of the United Kingdom to vote for it.

Prior to that, on September 26, 2024, the businessman advised against traveling to the UK in the near future, where 37 prisoners were mistakenly released from prisons. He pointed out that people should not travel to this country when authorities are "releasing convicted pedophiles" in order to "put people in prison for social media posts." Later, on November 30, 2024, Musk again criticized the number of convictions in the UK for illegal online speech.
