Fox News journalist Tammy Bruce was nominated for the post of head of the press service of the American State Department. This was announced by US President-elect Donald Trump on January 3.

"I am honored to announce that Tammy Bruce will join Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio as head of the State Department press office," he wrote on his page in the social network TruthSocial.

Trump emphasized his confidence in Bruce's strength of conviction and fearlessness.
