Deputy Defense Minister Fradkov fulfilled the dream of a girl from the Leningrad Region

Deputy Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Major General Pavel Fradkov took part in the "Christmas Tree of Wishes" charity event on January 4 and gave a girl Vasilisa from the Leningrad Region a snowcat.

"Dear Vasilisa, I am sure that Ded Moroz and I will be able to fulfill your wish and, of course, we will give you a snowcat, you will be able to have fun with your friends. I take this opportunity to congratulate you and all your loved ones on the coming New Year," Fradkov said.

It is specified that on behalf of the deputy minister, Ded Moroz and Snegurochka came to Vasilisa, who gave the girl the promised gift and played games together with her family.

"It was a big surprise for us that we got a call saying that our balloon had been pulled out. The balloon was pulled out by the Deputy Minister of Defense," said Vasilisa's mother.

The All-Russian action "Christmas Tree of Wishes" is held in military units and military garrisons in different regions of the country. It is attended by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov and the senior staff of the military department. The action is held for the sixth time.

Earlier, on January 3, Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant General Andrei Bulyga fulfilled the dream of Veronika from Rostov-on-Don within the framework of the "Christmas Tree of Wishes" charity event. The girl dreamed of a children's kitchen. On behalf of the Deputy Minister, representatives of the Ministry together with Santa Claus came to her home and presented her with a gift.

The "Wishing Tree" charity event is a project of the Russian "Movement of the First" with the support of Rosmolodezh, which has been taking place since 2018 and lasts from mid-November to the end of February. Thanks to the campaign, children aged 3-17 who find themselves in a difficult life situation get an opportunity to fulfill a cherished wish or receive a gift for the New Year.
