A bus accident in Colombia kills 13 people

As a result of the fall of a bus from a cliff in the southern part of Colombia, 13 people were killed and 30 injured. This was reported on January 3 by the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo.

"The number of dead as a result of the accident of a public bus on the Pan-American highway, between the cities of Pasto and Ipiales, has risen to 13 people," - stated in the material of the newspaper.

It is specified that two victims are in serious condition. They were taken to the nearest regional hospital. The remaining 28 victims were sent to medical centers in the city of Pasto.

Specialists said that, according to preliminary data, the fall of the bus was due to mechanical problems.
