In the coming days in the Murmansk region, severe frosts of up to -37 degrees Celsius are expected. This was reported by the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia on January 3.

"<...> in the west of the Murmansk region strong frost with minimum air temperature -37...-35 degrees, will remain until 10:00-13:00 hours on January 5," - said on the site.

It is also reported that in the Moscow and Kaluga regions, heavy icing is expected.

In the Krasnodar region forecast heavy rain with snow, thunderstorms, wind 15-20 m / s, ice and frost deposits, icing. In Magadan region - snow, snowstorm and strong wind.

Earlier, on January 1, it was reported that in Yakutia until January 4, the temperature is expected to drop to -50 degrees Celsius, a storm warning was also announced.
