The police computer system at all German airports has gone offline

The computer system of the German Federal Police has massively failed at airports across the country. This was reported by the Bild newspaper on January 3.
This is about the system, which is used to control entry.
"Our colleagues have to do many things manually that the system used to do," said a federal police spokesman working at Frankfurt airport.
The cause of the glitch is being specified.
It is also reported that it is not possible to enter Germany from a non-Schengen zone for the time being.
Last December, as a result of a failure in the local check-in system at Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai, flight DP 992 to Moscow was delayed for 3 hours and 25 minutes.
