Gorky Moscow Art Theater actress Henrietta Romodina died at the age of 93

Actress of the Gorky Moscow Art Theater, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Henrietta Romodina died at the age of 94. This was reported on January 3 in the press service of the cultural institution.

"The departure of Henrietta Vladimirovna Romodina is a loss for the entire theater world. We express deep condolences to the family, friends and everyone who knew and loved this talented actress," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the theater.

The press service noted that Romodina was a real favorite of the public thanks to her talent, charisma and sincerity, with which she approached the performance of each role in the theater.

In the Moscow Art Theater Romodina came in 1958, graduating from the course of Georgy Gerasimov in the school-studio of the Moscow Art Theater. During her work, her talent as a comedic and character actress was revealed, thanks to which she had a wide repertoire.

Among the famous productions in which Romodina played are "The Blue Bird" (the role of Water), "An Ideal Husband" (Miss Marchmont), "Valentine and Valentina" (Valentina's mother), "The Sage" (Turusina), "Farewell to Matera" (Katerina), "Trap for the Queen" (The Duchess), "School of Backbiting" (Mrs. Kander) and "Zoykin's Apartment" (The Lady).
