Ded Moroz's train has arrived in Moscow


The themed train of Santa Claus has arrived at Kievsky railway station in Moscow. This was reported in the press service of Russian Railways on January 3.
"Our fairy-tale train of Santa Claus has reached Moscow. This night he drove along the Moscow Central Ring, shining with lights and releasing clubs of steam," - said in a message published in the Telegram-channel of Russian Railways.
Muscovites and guests of the capital could meet Ded Moroz, who came from Veliky Ustyug, from 9:00 to 19:20 on January 2 also at the Kievsky railway station. An animation program was organized for the guests.
The official website of the train says that Santa Claus started his route on November 19 at the station Taishet, traveled through the entire Baikal-Amur Mainline, visited the cities of Siberia and the Far East. He also sailed by ferry to Sakhalin, was passing in the Urals, in the north and in the European part of Russia.
After the capital the train of Santa Claus will go to Pskov. His journey will end on January 11.
Earlier, on January 1, Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina said that within the framework of the project "Winter in Moscow" until January 12 there is a festival "Journey to Christmas", which offers New Year's master classes, matinees, thematic exhibitions and sports competitions. According to her, during the vacations guests will be met and congratulated by their favorite fairy tale characters - Father Frost and Snow Maiden. On 26 sites, for example in Kurkino, Kuzminki and Lublino districts, children's matinees with the participation of fairy tale and cartoon characters are held.
