Woman injured in AFU shelling of village in Kherson region

An 87-year-old resident of the village of Cossack Camps has been injured during shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kherson Region. This was reported on January 2 in the press service of the Ministry of Health in Telegram-channel with reference to the head of the surgical department of Skadovska CRB Shirak Mnatsakanyan.

"A patient was admitted with open craniocerebral trauma, shrapnel wounds to the abdomen and lower extremities, eye burns. Surgical intervention was carried out, the patient's condition in the postoperative period is severe," Mnatsakanyan said.

It is specified that at the moment the woman is in intensive care under constant supervision of specialists. After she passes this stage of treatment, she will be sent to the inpatient department.

Earlier, on December 30, it was reported that the AFU attacked the hospital in Kherson region. As a result of the incident, the head doctor was wounded and his deputy was killed.
