There were explosions in Dnepropetrovsk

There have been explosions in Dnipropetrovsk. This was reported on January 2 by the Ukrainian TV channel "Public".

"The sounds of explosions are heard, correspondents report", - stated in the publication.

The publication "Strana.ua" reported that a column of smoke was also visible after the explosions.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that infrastructure facilities were damaged after the explosions in a part of Zaporizhzhya Region, which is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). It was not specified what kind of facilities we are talking about.

At the same time, it was reported that explosions occurred in Kanev, Cherkasy region, amid an announced air alert, and explosions also occurred in Kiev. An air alert was declared in the city, as well as in the Kiev region.

Russian forces in October 2022 began striking military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kiev regime.
