Three people were killed in a road accident in Crimea
In Crimea, a road accident occurred on the Tavrida-Dzhankoy-Krasnoperekopsk highway near the village of Shakhtino in Sovetsky district, killing three people. This was reported on January 2 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.
"According to preliminary data, <...> the driver of the car "Chevrolet", born in 1993, moving in the direction of the city of Dzhankoy on the right curve of the road, not coping with management, drove into the lane of oncoming traffic, where it collided with the car "Lada Kalina" under the control of the driver born in 1980, who was moving in the opposite direction straight", - stated in the message published in the Telegram-channel of the Department.
The accident killed three passengers of the Lada Kalina, including two minors, born in 2018 and 2023.
The drivers of both cars, a child born in 2015, who was in the car "Chevrolet", and two passengers of "Lada Kalina" with injuries of various degrees were taken to the hospital. The nature of the injuries is not reported.
Law enforcers are conducting a check on the fact of the accident and find out all the circumstances.
Earlier in the day it was reported that the car ran over to death a man lying on the edge of the roadway at the 304th km of the federal highway Yekaterinburg - Tyumen. The traffic police added that the deceased was on the roadway without reflective elements. The pedestrian had nothing with him except a bottle of vodka. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
