Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the first documents in 2025, one of the orders amends the composition of the board of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The decree of the head of state was posted on January 2 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

According to the document, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador, former head of the Russian diplomatic mission in the UK Alexander Yakovenko is excluded from the collegium of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Alexander Alimov, director of the department for multilateral humanitarian cooperation and cultural relations, is approved as a member of the board.

Putin's second order concerns changes in the composition of the board of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the first decree of the new year by the head of state amends the regulations on the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia. Thus, the head of the IC gets the opportunity to establish the official heraldic signs of the department, to determine the procedure for their manufacture and use.

Earlier, December 30, it was reported that Putin established presidential scholarships for athletes and coaches in the amount of up to 60 thousand rubles.
