Drifters riding on a Christmas tree tied to a car were fined in Chelyabinsk

In Chelyabinsk to administrative responsibility of the participants of the illegal drive-in. This is stated in the message posted in the Telegram-channel of the press service of the city state traffic police on January 2.

It was reported that on January 2 at about 4 am (02:00 Moscow time) a man born in 1995, driving an Audi car, drove passengers around the city on a Christmas tree, which was tied to the car. Previously, he had been brought to criminal responsibility three times. At one point, a man in a Santa Claus costume climbed onto the tree and started setting off fireworks.

The young men were fined under Art. 12.23 part 2 of the CAO RF ("Transportation of people outside the cabin of the car") and Art. 12.30 of the CAO RF ("Violation of traffic rules, resulting in interference with the movement of vehicles"). Each fine amounts to 1 thousand rubles.

"We do not advise anyone to repeat it. We did not think that this is an administrative offense. We admit our guilt, we will never do this again," - said the offenders.

Earlier in the day in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that in Ufa the driver arranged a drift with fireworks. The man was detained and brought to administrative responsibility under several articles, including violation of fire safety rules (Art. 20.4 of the CAO RF), under which he may face a fine of up to 20 thousand rubles.
