On the coast of Anapa were found repeated emissions of oil products after the tanker crash. This was reported on January 2 in the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region.

"Repeated emissions of oil products at the water's edge - they are being cleaned up first of all. Now on the shore blows quite a strong wind," - noted in the Telegram-channel of the agency.

It is also indicated that representatives of the municipality are working on the territory of the removal of petroleum products in a reinforced mode to eliminate the consequences.

Deputy head of the Leningrad municipal district Vitaly Sherstobitov added that by the evening of this day the territory will be cleaned.

December 28, the Russian Ministry of Transport reported that all areas of pollution in the Kerch Strait, identified after the tanker crash, had been cleaned. At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, said that there was still a threat of fuel oil leakage into the Black Sea from the sunken ships.

December 26, Governor of Krasnodar Region Veniamin Kondratiev asked Kurenkov for federal assistance in eliminating the fuel oil spill on the coast. In addition, the region introduced a federal level emergency situation regime (ES). On December 28, the emergency regime of regional character was introduced in Crimea.

Tankers "Volgoneft-212" and "Volgoneft-239" crashed in the Kerch Strait on December 15 due to bad weather. The incident resulted in a spill of oil products. 27 people were evacuated from both vessels, one person died. On the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a working group has been set up to coordinate work to eliminate the consequences of the incident.
