In addition, as part of the draw, members of the draw committee checked the kegs and bag for intactness, completeness and absence of temperature anomalies. At the end of the draw, the commission confirmed that there were no violations and the winning combination was formed randomly. This decision is recorded in the protocol - the draw was recognized as valid.

"New Year's billion" was drawn on January 1 on the air of the federal TV channel. In the 1604th draw the main prize of 1 billion rubles was drawn. Another 90 people won 1 million each. In total, over 3.6 billion rubles were drawn - an absolute record for the total amount of winnings in a single draw among Russian state lotteries.
