An airplane rolled off the runway in the Krasnoyarsk region
An Airbus 321A airplane of Sibir Airlines rolled out of the runway at Norilsk airport after landing. This was reported on January 2 by the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office, which organized the inspection.
It is noted that the plane was on a flight from Moscow. The accident occurred when making a U-turn near the taxiway. There were 79 passengers on board the airplane.
"The aircraft is temporarily suspended from flights, the causes and circumstances of the incident are established. To perform a turnaround flight to Moscow allocated a reserve board, departure is scheduled for 15:30 (19:30 Moscow time - Ed.)," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the department.
Earlier, on December 10 last year, in Yakutia, the plane Yak-40 airline "Aerobratsk" during landing also rolled out of the runway. The incident occurred at 12:00 local time (6:00 Moscow time). There were no casualties as a result of the incident. The East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office organized an inspection.
