A man died in a fire caused by a cigarette in the Irkutsk Region
A man died in Nizhneudinsk in the Irkutsk region as a result of a fire caused by an unextinguished cigarette. This was reported on January 2 in the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region.
"The inquirers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia established that the man fell asleep with an unextinguished cigarette. The smoldering cigarette butt began to burn the bed, which led to the fire of a residential house on the street Tsvetochnaya", - specified in the message in the Telegram-channel of the department.
In extinguishing the fire involved 10 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and two units of equipment. The fire was eliminated on the area of 48 square meters. m.
Earlier in the day a man was injured in a fire in a private bath in Primorsky Krai. Later the fire was completely eliminated, its area amounted to 12 square meters. m. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
