Air defense forces have destroyed two more Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on January 2.

"Two more enemy unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type have been detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz specified that as a result of the attacks no one was injured and there was no destruction. Emergency services are working at the site.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces destroyed 13 Ukrainian drones over five regions of the Russian Federation. It is specified that three drones were eliminated over the Belgorod region, four each over the Voronezh and Kursk regions and one each over the Voronezh and Kaluga regions.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
