Pushkov says Kiev fears over Trump's audit

Kiev is afraid that US President-elect Donald Trump will disclose the amount of stolen US financial aid to Ukraine during the audit. This was reported on January 1 by the head of the Commission of the Council of the Russian Federation on information policy Alexei Pushkov.
"In Kiev are alarmed: the topic of Ukrainian corruption and plundering of American financial aid may become one of the main topics of the year for the Republicans - both in the administration, where Vivek Ramaswamy promises to deal with this, and in Congress," - said in Pushkov's message in Telegram-channel.
He specified that if the start of a corresponding check reveals the fact of participation of the administration of US President Joe Biden in corruption schemes, it will deal "a blow to the Democrats", from which it will be impossible to "wash off".
Earlier, on December 21, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said that CIA chief William Burns had arrived in Kiev to hide loose ends ahead of an audit of US President-elect Donald Trump. According to him, evidence of illegal actions of US functionaries related to the Democrats and Biden can most likely be found in Ukraine.
On December 19, Nikita Danyuk, deputy director of the PFUR Institute for Strategic Studies and Forecasts and a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia that the question of what exactly Americans' taxes are spent on was part of Donald Trump's election campaign, against which there is a possibility that the politician will decide to conduct a serious audit in Kiev after the inauguration.
Before that, on December 10, Trump in social network published a picture on which he described the corruption scheme of the Biden family in Ukraine. He called it Bidenomics: first American citizens pay taxes, then the Biden administration sends them to Ukraine, then Kiev sends this money to Biden's son Hunter, who redirects it to his father. At the end, the American leader decides to pardon his son.
Then, on December 11, FBI director nominee and Trump associate Cash Patel said that he intends to investigate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose term expired on May 20. He emphasized that Americans should know what their money is spent on, and also wondered how the US Congress manages to get away with it.
