A man who opened fire in a catering establishment in Cetinje killed at least 10 people, two of whom were children. Montenegrin Interior Ministry head Danilo Šaranović said on January 1.

"Ako Martinovic, who is suspected of committing this crime, shot at least 10 people, including two minors," RTCG portal quotes Sharanovic as saying.

It is specified that the suspect shot the owner of the cafe, as well as several members of his family. The head of the Interior Ministry added that residents of the city should stay at home so as not to hinder the police investigation.

Earlier in the day it was reported that seven people were killed in a shooting in Cetinje. According to the publication, the armed 45-year-old man, whose identity was established, fled the scene of the incident.

At the same time, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said that the Montenegrin government would declare three days of mourning after the shooting at a catering establishment in Cetinje.
