Ukrainian media reported explosions in Kanev, Cherkasy region

Explosions erupted in Kanev in Cherkasy Region amid an announced air alert. This was reported on January 2 by the Ukrainian edition "Strana.ua".

"Reported explosions in Kanev Cherkassy region", - stated in a message in the Telegram-channel.

According to the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, an air alert has been declared in Cherkasy, Sumy, Kirovograd, Odessa and Mykolayiv regions.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.

Earlier in the day it was reported about explosions in Kiev. In the city, as well as in the Kiev region announced an air alert.
