The Defense Ministry has shown footage of the destruction of UAVs and AFU personnel in Kharkiv region

The North Group of the Russian Armed Forces has destroyed an armored combat vehicle (ACV) with the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (AFU) manpower in Kharkiv Region using an FPV drone. Images of the combat operation were published by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 1.

The armored vehicle with the AFU's manpower was detected during reconnaissance by operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the "North" group of troops. The Defense Ministry specifies that the enemy vehicles were transporting AFU servicemen to their positions to carry out personnel rotation.

The detected target was successfully eliminated by a direct hit by an FPV drone. A direct hit on the enemy was recorded.

On December 30, the Russian military destroyed an AFU pickup truck in Kharkiv region with the help of an FPV drone. It was specified that the strike was made after analyzing the received intelligence.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
