CBS News reported on a truck hitting a crowd of people in New Orleans

A truck struck a crowd of people on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. This was reported by CBS News on Wednesday, January 1.

It is specified that after the truck struck people, the driver exited the vehicle and began firing, after which law enforcement returned fire.

"Initial reports indicate the vehicle may have struck a group of people. Injuries are unknown, but fatalities have been reported," the local police office said.

Earlier, on December 25, it was reported that a man drove a car into a crowd of people near a nightclub in London. It was specified that the car was moving on the oncoming lane, then flew out on the sidewalk, where it hit four people. All the injured were taken to hospital in serious condition.
