Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. It is noted that units of the "West" troop grouping have improved their position along the leading edge, units of the Southern troop grouping have occupied more advantageous lines, and units of the "East" troop grouping have continued advancing deep into the enemy's defense, defeating formations of the tank brigade, two mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and two terro-defense brigades.

"The units of the Dnipro group of troops defeated the manpower and equipment of the infantry brigade of the AFU and two brigades of the thero-defense in the areas of the settlements of Stepnogorsk in the Zaporozhye region, Prydniprovskoye, Berislav in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces' groups of troops struck an energy facility that provided work for an enterprise of Ukraine's military-industrial complex, the infrastructure of military airfields, an assembly site for uncrewed boats, as well as concentrations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 142 areas.

"The air defense means shot down seven rockets of HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems manufactured by the United States and Uragan, as well as 66 unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type," the Defense Ministry said.

The Black Sea Fleet also destroyed three uncrewed boats.

In total, 650 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 39,047 unmanned aerial vehicles, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 20,127 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,504 multiple rocket launchers, 20,120 field artillery and mortar guns, 29,685 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
