The AFU shelled Belgorod region with 20 shells over the day


The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) carried out 20 strikes on Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours. This was reported by regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on Wednesday, December 1.
In Belgorod district, three UAVs were launched at villages, one of which was shot down. One was also shot down over the Valuysky district. In Graivoronsky District, settlements were attacked 15 times and hit by an FPV drone. In Krasnoyaruzsky District, the villages of Kolotilovka and Demidovka were shelled. According to preliminary data, as a result of these attacks, no one was injured and no destruction was recorded.
It is specified that a private house was damaged after the UAV attack on the Volokonsky district.
"In the Shebekinsky municipal district, four munitions were fired in four shelling attacks on the town of Shebekino, the villages of Murom, Novaya Tavolzhanka and the farm Pankov. In addition, four drones were shot down over the district," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
As a result, one civilian was wounded, he was treated and sent home. Fifteen private houses, four apartment buildings, five cars, three garages and a power line were damaged. The villages of Ziborovka and Murom are temporarily without electricity, restoration work is underway.
Earlier, on December 31, Gladkov reported that one person was injured in the shelling of Shebekino by the AFU. The windows, roofs, facades, fences or outbuildings of 13 private houses in the town were damaged as a result of shelling. Several garages and four cars were also damaged.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
