Russians have become indifferent to any opinion about them abroad. This opinion was expressed by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on January 1.

"We have become indifferent to what they are saying there: Russophobic or not Russophobic. You love us - fine, congratulations to you! At last you have found harmony and realized something. Are you pissed off by us? Do you continue to be pissed off? We sympathize. Or not sympathize, if it crosses the boundaries of reasonableness," Zakharova said on Sputnik radio.

She pointed out that what is important for Russia now is first of all how the participants of the special military operation feel on the front line, people in the regions and the country as a whole, empathizing "in a single impulse," rather than how relations with other states are built on an unequal basis.

Earlier, on December 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that relations between Russia and the West will inevitably normalize. According to him, the problem of the West is its arrogance and snobbery. Its actions only push the process of creating a multipolar world, the Russian president said.
