Media reported water cuts in most of Berlin before New Year's Eve


In most districts of Berlin there was a water shutdown on New Year's Eve. This was reported on January 1 by the publication Bild.
The city police confirmed a "powerful explosion of the water pipeline", the cause is not yet clear. It is known that the pipeline was built in the 1920s.
Water cuts affected at least nine districts of Berlin, by midnight there was a partial resumption of water supply.
Earlier, December 31, in Puerto Rico, more than 1 million people were left without electricity because of the accident. It is noted that the preliminary results of the investigation of the accident indicate an accident of the subway line.
