In Shebekino, glazing in two houses was damaged as a result of AFU shelling

In the Belgorod town of Shebekino, two apartment buildings were damaged as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on January 1.
"In the first minutes of the new year the AFU shelled Shebekinsky district. According to preliminary information, no one was injured. In the town of Shebekino in two apartment buildings the glazing was damaged," reads the message in his Telegram-channel.
Gladkov pointed out that in the villages of Ziborovka and Murom there was an emergency power outage. Operational work on restoration will begin in the daylight hours.
Earlier, on December 31, Gladkov reported that one person was injured in the shelling of Shebekino by the AFU. The windows, roofs, facades, fences or outbuildings of 13 private houses in the town were damaged as a result of shelling. Several garages and four cars were also damaged.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
