Russian Human Rights Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova said on December 31 that she had met with Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubints the previous day during the prisoner exchange with Kiev.

"Yesterday we had another meeting with the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets. Together talked with prisoners of war from both sides, discussed further prospects for humanitarian contacts, the return of civilians, family reunification," she wrote in Telegram-channel.

The day before, on December 30, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Russia had returned 150 military personnel from Ukrainian captivity, handing over 150 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to Kiev in return. Later, footage of the return of the Russian fighters, who called their relatives, was published.
