The Russian Armed Forces destroyed an AFU armored personnel carrier in the DNR with a Lancet

The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed an armored personnel carrier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the engagement on December 31.

The footage shows a direct hit and explosion of an APC-80 of the AFU militants.

The Defense Ministry noted that the movement of the armored personnel carrier was detected in one of the forest belts on the territory of the DNR by servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the 20th Guards Army of the "West" group of forces with the help of aerial reconnaissance means.

"The detected target was promptly destroyed by servicemen of the 20th Guards All-Russian Army of the "North" group of troops using a Lancet barrage munition," the ministry said.

On the eve of the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian military hit the energy facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, as well as airfields, warehouses and control points of attack drones of the AFU.
