"In the course of reconnaissance activities, servicemen of the "North" group of troops uncovered a mortar calculation of one of the AFU units in a forest belt in Sumy region in the area of the SSO. The enemy equipped a firing position for firing, but was quickly detected by the UAV calculation," the agency said in a statement.

The decision to strike was made after determining and confirming the exact coordinates.
