Three new pedestrian crossings have been opened in Moscow. This was announced by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin in his Telegram-channel.

One of them is underground, connecting the districts of Timiryazevsky and Butyrsky, separated by the railroad tracks of Savelovsky direction of the Moscow Railway. Thanks to this crossing, residents of the districts will be able to move safely through the MCD-1 and between the stops of public transport on Dmitrovskoye Shosse and Yablochkova Street.

In addition, two elevated crossings have appeared as part of the Solntsevo - Butovo - Varshavskoe highway: one is 125 meters long, the other is almost 100 meters long. The first one connects Potapovskaya Roshcha Street with residential areas on Edvard Grigg Street, it is equipped with three staircases and the same number of elevators. The second crossing connects the residential development on Edvarda Griga Street and Potapovskaya Roshcha Street, two elevators are installed on it.

This year 15 such structures have been built in Moscow. New crossings will improve the infrastructure of the city and increase the safety of pedestrians, emphasized the mayor's office.
