In Ingushetia, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a man who stole Br396 thousand, intended for the operation of a cancer-stricken child. This was reported by the press service of the Interior Ministry of Dagestan.

"Wanted man who stole the money intended for the operation of a cancer patient child, is established and detained by employees of the Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan", - stated in the publication.

Out of 396 thousand rubles he managed to return only 125 thousand. The rest of the money - 271 thousand rubles - he spent in restaurants.

The attacker is a resident of Buynaksk, Dagestan. When the police were on the doorstep of his apartment, he jumped from the third floor and ran away, catching a hitchhiker and reaching Makhachkala. After the man traveled by shuttle bus to Krasnodar, and was detained in Ingushetia.

It is noted that the attacker had previously been convicted under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft of other people's property"). A criminal case was initiated on the fact of theft.

Earlier, on December 26, in Murino, Leningrad region, kidnapped a man for a debt of 50 thousand rubles. According to him, a 19-year-old young man bought a phone in installments from an acquaintance, but did not give the money, because of which the latter beat him and forcibly put him in a carsharing car.
