The US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman has been attacked by the Husseinians

Yemeni Houthis of the rebel Ansar Allah movement attacked the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman with cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles ( UAVs ) as the United States allegedly prepared a major attack on Yemen. The US air attack on Yemen was thwarted. This was stated by Yahya Saria, a military spokesman for the Houthis, in Telegram on December 31.
In a joint operation of the Navy (Yemeni Navy. - Ed.), missile troops and UAVs of the Yemeni Armed Forces, a large number of drones and cruise missiles were used to strike the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, the publication said. Saria emphasized that at the time of the Yemen operation, the US military forces were preparing a major air attack on Yemen.
"The operation successfully achieved its objectives, and the prepared American air attack on our country was thwarted," the Yemeni Houthis' military spokesman wrote.
Earlier, on December 28, Saria said that Yemen's Houthis shot down a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper UAV in the skies over al-Bayda province.
Prior to that, on Dec. 22, Saria said the Houthis shot down a U.S. Navy F/A-18 fighter jet while attacking the aircraft carrier Harry Truman in the Red Sea. He noted that their attack caused most of the enemy warplanes to leave Yemeni airspace to defend the attacked aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.
The Houthis began targeting ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since November last year in protest against Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip. On the night of Jan. 12, in response to their actions, the U.S. and Britain launched an attack on Houthi targets in Yemen. The White House said the strikes on movement-controlled areas of the country were defensive in nature. It was also claimed at the time that the strikes were carried out to protect international vessels.
