Restrictions on Kazan airport operations lifted

Restrictions on the reception and departure of flights have been lifted at Kazan airport. This was announced on Tuesday, December 31, by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) Artem Korenyako.

"At Kazan airport from 09:30 Moscow time, restrictions on the reception and departure of aircraft (VS) have been lifted," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

It is specified that during the period of restrictions, two airplanes landed on an alternate airfield in Begishevo.

Korenyako recalled that the restrictions were introduced earlier in the day.

Before that, on December 28, flight restrictions in Kazan air harbor were introduced from 06:00. Because of this, flights from Tomsk, Kemerovo and Surgut had to be redirected to an alternate airfield in Begishevo. The restrictions were lifted the same day at 10:05.
