Four people were killed and two injured in a fire at a train station in Sofia

A fire at the central railway station in Sofia killed four people and injured two others. This was reported by the Bulgarian Telegraphic Agency(BTA) on Tuesday, December 31.

Two of the injured are in serious condition and hospitalized in a toxicology clinic.

The fire occurred in the evening of December 30 in a railroad car. According to preliminary data, it could have been set by homeless people. Operational services were sent to the scene, and the fire was extinguished.

Earlier, on December 28, as a result of an explosion in a residential building in Turkey there was a fire. 10 people were injured and hospitalized. The fire was extinguished, some apartments were damaged.
