Vladikavkaz airport closed due to the danger of UAV attack

The airport "Vladikavkaz" was closed for receiving and sending airplanes. About it on Tuesday, December 31, reported the head of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania Sergey Menyailo.

"Since 04:00 in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District announced a drone danger. Vladikavkaz airport is closed for receiving and sending airplanes," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Menyailo specified that air defense forces shot down a drone over the Shalkhi training ground. There were no casualties or damage as a result of the incident.

The head of the republic urged to avoid provocations, as well as to calmness and trust only verified sources of information.
