The State Duma reminded about the growth of social pensions from April 2025

Social pension in the Russian Federation will be indexed by 14.75% from April 1, 2025. This was recalled by member of the State Duma Committee on Social Policy Svetlana Bessarab in a conversation with "RIA Novosti" on December 31.

She also added that for 2026 and 2027 budget indicators are scheduled as planned. However, according to the deputy, they may be clarified in 2025 during the adjustment of the budget of the social and pension insurance fund.

Earlier, on December 5, Bessarab said that in 2025 all pensions in Russia will be indexed by 14.75%. The increase in payments will occur from April 1, 2025. According to her, the social supplement to the pension will guarantee the subsistence minimum even for those pensioners whose income is below this level in their region.

November 30, it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on the budget of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund for 2025-2027, according to which the social pension will be indexed by 14.75%. After indexation on April 1, 2025, the size of the social pension will be 15,456 rubles.
