Strong wind with gusts up to 35-40 m/s is expected in Anadyr of the Chukotka Autonomous District, a storm warning has been announced. This was reported on December 31 in the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Chukotka Autonomous District.

"From 07:45 on December 31, 2024 (local time; December 30, 22:45 Moscow time - Ed.) in the city of Anadyr is expected dangerous weather phenomenon - very strong east wind with gusts of 35-40 m / s with a snowstorm. The phenomenon will persist for 12 hours", - specified in the publication.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommended local residents and guests not to leave the boundaries of settlements, do not leave children unattended and in case of strong wind gusts to stay away from dilapidated structures.
