A crewless boat (BEC) was destroyed near Sevastopol. This was reported by the city's governor Mikhail Razvozhayev on December 31.

"Loud sounds that were now heard in the city - this is our military repelled an attempted attack by surface drones. According to preliminary information, one BEC was destroyed," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev reported the destruction of two UAVs over the waters of the Black Sea. Information about the damage was not specified.

On December 30, the governor of Orel Region, Andrey Klychkov, reported the destruction of a Ukrainian drone over the region. There was no information about damage or casualties.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
