A criminal case has been opened over poisoning in a canteen in the Voronezh Region

The investigation initiated a criminal case on the fact of poisoning in the canteen in Voronezh region. This was reported on December 31 in the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the region.

"A criminal case has been opened on the signs of a crime under part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements")", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

According to preliminary information, after lunch in the canteen in the distribution center in the village of Aidarovo, Ramonsky district, Voronezh region, employees of the organization complained of ill health. The agency specified that at the moment 15 people were taken to medical facilities: 14 of them are in a state of average severity, one victim is in intensive care.

Investigators and employees of Rospotrebnadzor continue to take the necessary samples, seize items and documents. All the circumstances of the incident are being established.

The poisoning of at least 14 people after lunch in the canteen in Voronezh region became known in the evening of December 30. All the victims were hospitalized, 13 of them are in a state of average severity, another one - in intensive care in a serious stable condition with positive dynamics.
