Russian servicemen freed from Ukrainian captivity call their families

Russian fighters released from Ukrainian captivity have contacted their relatives. This is evidenced on December 30 by footage published in the Telegram channel of the Russian Defense Ministry.

The relatives will be happy, we are very happy to get here on this day, on the New Year's Eve holiday," one of the servicemen said.
Earlier in the day, Russia returned 150 military personnel from Ukrainian captivity as part of the exchange with Kiev, it became known on the same day. It was specified that the United Arab Emirates acted as an intermediary in the return of Russian servicemen from captivity.
In her turn, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova, said in her Telegram channel that she had personally talked to the Russian servicemen released from captivity and noted their courage and resilience.
Prior to that, on December 20, Moskalkova and her Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Lubinets discussed the lists of prisoners of war and missing persons. The meeting also addressed issues of further humanitarian cooperation to assist civilians.
