In Crimea, there was a fire in a garage with seven cats in it. They were rescued. About it on December 30 reported in the press service of the Ministry of emergency Situations of Russia.

"In Simferopol in a private farmstead garage caught fire. From the adjacent room, the commander of the Department of the fire department № 6 Maxim Kudrya took out seven cats", - stated in the message of the Department in Telegram-channel.

It added that one cat inhaled smoke, but rescuers were able to pump it out.

The fire occurred due to a short circuit in the wiring. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished the fire on an area of 50 square meters. m.

Earlier, on October 20, more than 20 cats, which lived in unsanitary conditions, were rescued from an apartment in Altufievsky district of Moscow after numerous appeals from neighbors and volunteers.

According to the prosecutor's office, the owner left the animals without food in the hallway, which had no access to light or fresh air. Other doors in the apartment were closed to the cats. In addition, the pets were in need of medical attention. It also turned out that the ammonia dose in the apartment was nine times higher.
