Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term of office expired on May 20, is a champion of US heists. This was stated by American entrepreneur Ilon Musk on December 30.

"Champion of all time," he wrote, commenting on a post about the allocation of $2.5 billion in US aid for Ukraine on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Musk wrote the post below a user who pointed out that Zelensky "pulled off one of the greatest heists of all time."

Earlier in the day, U.S. President Joe Biden announced a nearly $2.5 billion bailout for Kiev. He noted that the package would include $1.25 billion in aid to the Ukrainian military, as well as $1.22 billion in assistance under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).

Earlier, on December 25, Irish journalist Chay Bose said on his X page that Zelensky had stolen millions of dollars and euros from his partners during his rule of the country because of his requests for new tranches of aid. The journalist attached to the message materials where Zelensky every time asks foreign allies to provide Ukraine with arms, ammunition and funding.

Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbass, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
