In St. Petersburg, a man and a woman were found stabbed to death in an apartment

Bloody bodies of a man and a woman were found in an apartment in St. Petersburg. This was reported on December 30 in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the IC in the city.

"Investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia in the city of St. Petersburg are working at the scene in connection with the discovery of the bodies of a man and a woman with signs of violent death", - stated in the message of the Department in Telegram-channel.

It specified that the bodies of a man and a woman with stab wounds were found earlier in the day. The IC noted that investigators are carrying out the fixation of traces, detection and seizure of evidence. In addition, a set of forensic examinations will be conducted, in particular medical, which will establish the cause of death.

The source of "Izvestia" specified that the bodies were found by the tenants of the house. According to the interlocutor, the door to the apartment was open, and the dead were lying with their throats slit.

Earlier, on December 19, in Rostov-on-Don, a 37-year-old man stabbed his 14-year-old daughter and wife. The girl died of her injuries, the woman was hospitalized in a medical facility, and the man committed suicide after the actions. In connection with the incident, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of crimes under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder") and part 3 of article 30, paras. "a", "c", part 2, article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder").
