AFU strike on hospital in Kherson region kills deputy chief doctor


The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have attacked a hospital in Kherson Region. As a result, the head doctor was wounded and his deputy was killed. This was announced on Monday, December 30, by the Governor of the region Volodymyr Saldo.
"The Kiev regime committed a barbaric attack on the building of the Alyoshkin Central district hospital. The NATO drone operator directed the drone directly into the office of the head doctor," - stated in a message in the Telegram-channel.
It is specified that the deputy chief doctor Vasily Borisov died as a result of the shelling. Chief doctor Vladimir Harlan is seriously wounded, this is the second attempt on his life.
Earlier, on December 27, the AFU shelled an ambulance brigade in Kherson region. The car was caught by one of the dropped shells. At the same time, the workers were not seriously injured.
Before that, on December 22, three people were injured as a result of the AFU shelling of the village of Cairo in the Kherson region. Among the victims are two adults and one child. They were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces shell the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the background of the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
